Three kinds of dates

  • Court sentence date: when the judge sentenced the person. Never a release date.
  • Projected eligibility date: an estimate of when someone could be considered (for parole) or released. It moves as credits are earned or lost.
  • Official DOC date: the date the corrections department has on file as of its last data update. We always show when that data was last updated.
