What this page can and can't tell you
Can: An estimate for planning, kept only on your device.
Can't: It can't give an official release date, say whether a specific person qualifies, or give legal advice. Only the DOC, the board or a court decides.
Important: credits are subject to exclusions in the law, can be forfeited, and are applied at the DOC's discretion. Don't make release arrangements based on an estimate. Confirm the date with the DOC.
Free legal help: Legal Services Corporation: find legal aid (civil matters). For criminal cases, ask the public defender's office that handled the case.
Estimate, not official. This only counts days to the dates you type. Only NMCD or the parole board sets release dates, and they can move.
