Parole for women at FMWCC
Before release, NPP must approve a home address; see transitional housing and approved addresses and release programs (184, 305, 317). Parole eligibility, hearings and mandatory parole work the same way as for any NDOC sentence. The Board posts monthly hearing schedules, and families can send support letters. See hearings, release and reentry. [Parole Board]
Visiting basics (all NDOC facilities)
- Send the visiting application (DOC 3000, PDF) to the facility where the person is housed, not to NDOC Central Office. [NDOC visiting]
- Statewide rules are in Administrative Regulation (AR) 719; each facility also has its own operating procedure.
- Phones and tablets run through ViaPath. [NDOC phones]
- Find the current facility with the NDOC inmate search.
Mail, packages and money
- Books and calendars may be mailed with limits; see AR 711 and AR 750. [NDOC mail]
- Clothing and food packages are ordered through NDOC's SecurePak package program. If NDOC offers an item through canteen or SecurePak, it can't be mailed from outside.
- Sending money: see NDOC Offender Banking Services. [NDOC banking]
- Check the facility mailroom rules before mailing printed pages (including our printable guides).
Family help
NDOC Family Services Division: (775) 977-5707 · NDOCfamilyservices@doc.nv.gov. It can help with credits, in and out dates, housing location, releases, Parole Board results and general visiting questions. It can't share transfer or medical details. It can't check who is calling. So it only gives general information. [NDOC]
