Nebraska release countdown
Enter dates from the official NDCS record and see the days to go. The dates are kept only in this browser on this device and are never sent to us.
Estimate, not official. This only counts days to the dates you type. Only NDCS or the parole board sets release dates, and they can move.
What could change the date in Nebraska

- Extra 3 days a month: given after any 12-month period with no Class I or II offense and no more than three Class III offenses. These days cannot be forfeited. (Neb. Rev. Stat. §83-1,107 (reductions of sentence)) (opens in new tab)
- Reductions count from the sentence date, including jail time before sentencing. (Neb. Rev. Stat. §83-1,107 (reductions of sentence)) (opens in new tab)
- The 6-months-per-year reduction can be forfeited, withheld and restored by the facility chief with approval. (Neb. Rev. Stat. §83-1,107 (reductions of sentence)) (opens in new tab)
- Mandatory minimum terms and life sentences follow other provisions not covered here.
