How ADCRR describes this facility

Phoenix is the reception center for adult men sentenced to ADCRR (except death row and life sentences), and includes a mental health transitional care unit and a 45-bed inpatient infirmary.

Visiting

• Apply online with the Application to Visit an Inmate. Most adult visitors pay a one-time $25 background check fee. [ADCRR visiting]
• Allow about 60 days after your fee and documents arrive.
• Do not apply while the person is still in intake. All visits are by appointment.

Schedules change. Call (602) 685-3100 or check ADCRR before every trip.

Mail and phone

• Most mail goes to the digital processing center, not the prison: Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry, Inmate's full first and last name + ADCRR number, Prison Complex, Assigned Unit, PO Box 211309, Dallas, TX 75211. [ADCRR mail]
• Legal mail, packages, publications and documents needing a signature go to 801 E Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034, with the same name, number, complex and unit.
• Mail sent straight to a prison complex is returned to the sender.
