Alabama prison mail & photo rules checker
Tick what you plan to send and see ADOC (Alabama)'s official rules for it before it gets rejected. Pick a prison for its mailing address.
All official mail rules we have for Alabama
- Personal mail goes digital and is delivered to the person's tablet. Address it to: ALDOC Inmate Mail Processing, the person's name and AIS number, P.O. Box 17339, San Antonio, TX 78217. (official source) (opens in new tab)
- Write your full name and physical address in the top left corner. Personal mail sent to a facility is returned. (official source) (opens in new tab)
- Packages and legal mail still go to the facility's local address. (official source) (opens in new tab)
Write the person's name and ID number only on the envelope; this page never asks for them. Rules change and can differ by prison; the prison's posted rules win. Not legal advice. No sponsors or affiliate links. Last checked .
